Robot không cần phải có kích thước cực lớn. Các nhà khoa học tại Đại học Illinois, Mỹ, đã tạo ra một robot có kích thước chỉ hơn 1cm, được xây dựng trên hydrogel xương sống in ra từ máy in 3D.
