ác nhà khoa học thuộc ĐH Rhode Island vừa giải mã bí mật của những cơn sóng ngầm cao tới 150 m, gây ra hiện tượng "đại dương dậy sóng", có thể quan sát từ trên vệ tinh.Nhà hải dương học David Farmer, chủ nhiệm khoa Hải dương học, ĐH Rhode Island, cùng với sinh viên của mình là Qiang Li, nghiên cứu quá trình phát triển của sóng bên trong luồng nước, thường diễn ra ở các đợt thủy triều, tạo ra bằng những dòng nước chảy ngang qua các mỏm đất ngầm ở eo biển Luzon, Philipines.
