Họ cho rằng cách đây 137 triệu năm, nhiệt độ của đại dương đột ngột lạnh đi chỉ còn khoảng 9 độ C và điều đó đã gây cái chết hàng loạt cho những con khủng long trên trái đất, Telegraph cho hay. Trước đây một số nhà khoa học cho rằng loài vật này bị tuyệt chủng cách đây 65 triệu năm, vì một nguyên nhân khác.
