Bằng cách sử dụng camera tốc độ xấp xỉ 20 tỷ khung hình/giây, các nhà khoa học đã lần đầu tiên quay lại được đoạn video cho thấy một chùm laser đang di chuyển trong không khí với thời gian 6 nano giây.
