Phát hiện một loài thằn lằn mới tại Việt Nam

Việc khám phá ở Vườn Quốc gia Cát Tiên, Khu Bảo tồn thiên nhiên Vĩnh Cửu và khu vực Núi Dinh đã khẳng định thêm giá trị đa dạng sinh học ở miền Nam Việt Nam. Các nhà khoa học Đức, Nga và Việt Nam vừa công bố thêm một loài thạch sùng ngón mới giống Cyrtodactylus ở tỉnh Đồng Nai và Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu. Ngoài mẫu chuẩn của loài thu được ở Vườn Quốc gia Cát Tiên, còn được thu thập ở Khu Bảo tồn Thiên nhiên Vĩnh Cửu, tỉnh Đồng Nai và khu vực Núi Dinh, tỉnh Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu.
