hiệt độ trung bình của hành tinh xanh sẽ tăng thêm 6 độ C vào cuối thế kỷ này nếu nhân loại không nỗ lực cắt giảm khí thải gây hiệu ứng nhà kính. Newscientist cho biết, Global Carbon Project - một tổ chức gồm 37 nhà khoa học tại 7 quốc gia - vừa công bố một báo cáo về tình trạng khí thải trong những năm qua. Báo cáo cho hay khả năng hấp thụ khí CO2 của trái đất đang giảm dần. Theo tính toán của các nhà khoa học, trong 50 năm qua tỷ lệ CO2 bị hấp thụ chỉ đạt 55-60% mỗi năm.
