Trong giai đoạn 2020 – 2025, Thủ tướng Chính phủ và Thống đốc Ngân hàng Nhà nước đã phát động nhiều phong trào thi đua quan trọng nhằm thúc đẩy ngành Ngân hàng đẩy nhanh chuyển đổi số, tiêu biểu là phong trào “Bình dân học vụ số” và Chiến lược Chuyển đổi số ngành Ngân hàng. Theo đó, chuyển đổi số không chỉ là nhiệm vụ chuyên môn mà còn trở thành phong trào thi đua yêu nước gắn với nâng cao hiệu quả hoạt động, chất lượng dịch vụ và đóng góp cho mục tiêu phát triển kinh tế số quốc gia.
