Telegraph cho biết, tiến sĩ Andrew Marshall, giáo sư khảo sát số lượng loài thuộc khoa Môi trường của Đại học York (Mỹ), tới rừng Magombera tại Tanzania để khỉ ở đây. Trong quá trình nghiên cứu ông nhìn thấy một con rắn twig – loài rắn có đuôi dài, đầu dẹt và mũi nhọn. Nghe thấy tiếng động con rắn chạy trốn. Trong lúc chạy nó há mồm và một con tắc kè hoa nhỏ xíu nhảy ra trước sự sửng sốt của Marshall.Loài tắc kè hoa nhỏ xíu sống trong miệng rắn mới được phát hiện.
