Phát hiện gien điều khiển nhịp tim

ột nghiên cứu mới đã tìm ra gien đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc duy trì sự ổn định cho nhịp đập của tim. Các nhà khoa học hy vọng phát hiện này có thể giúp phát triển ra một loại thuốc mới có khả năng điều trị hiệu quả bệnh đau tim và những bệnh liên quan. Bệnh tim là nguyên nhân gây tử vong hàng đầu trên thế giới. Ước tính có khoảng 7 triệu ca tử vong do bệnh tim trên thế giới hằng năm. Trong đó, hơn ½ số ca tử vong này là đột tử do rối loạn nhịp tim (rung tâm thất, mạch yếu,...).
