Theo các nhà nghiên cứu châu Âu, khí thải carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) từ các nhà máy công nghiệp gây ô nhiễm môi trường có thể được chôn vào lòng đất thay vì thải vào không gian. Và việc thay đổi này có thể góp phần giảm thiểu tình trạng khí hậu Trái đất nóng dần lên.
