Phát hiện về cơ chế làm giảm đau của châm cứu
rong công trình nghiên cứu đăng trên tạp chí Nature Neuroscience ra ngày 30/5, các nhà khoa học thần kinh ở Mỹ khẳng định sở dĩ châm cứu có thể làm giảm đau vì nó giúp giải phóng một loại phân tử tự nhiên có tên là adenosine.Cơ chế này được phát hiện thông qua nhiều cuộc thử nghiệm trên chuột trong phòng thí nghiệm. Các nhà khoa học tiêm một loại hóa chất gây sưng tấy vào chân của chuột, sau đó họ cắm những cái kim nhọn vào huyệt Túc Tam Lý, một vị trí châm cứu nổi tiếng nằm dưới đầu gối.
