Một nhóm nhà khoa học tham gia chuyến thám hiểm khảo sát tàu Titanic năm 2022 do công ty khám phá đại dương OceanGate Expeditions và tổ chức di truyền học môi trường eDNAtec sẽ thu thập mẫu nước quanh xác tàu đắm năm 1912 và nghiên cứu ADN để hiểu rõ hơn những tổ chức vi sinh vật trú ngụ ở đó.
