Mía – Vị ngọt dinh dưỡng

ía có tên khoa học là Saccharum officinarum L., thuộc họ Lúa - Poaceae. Thành phần chủ yếu của mía là đường saccharose. Mía còn có một hàm lượng acid amin khá cao, đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc bổ sung dinh dưỡng cho cơ thể. Mía cũng giàu vitamin B1, B2, B6, C, canxi, phospho, sắt... Theo Đông y, mía có vị ngọt, tính mát, mát phổi lợi đàm, điều hòa tỳ vị, giúp khỏi nôn oẹ, mửa khan, xốn xáo trong bụng. Y học ngày nay cũng chứng minh mía có tác dụng nhuận tràng, lợi tiểu, giải nhiệt.
