ơ quan Khí tượng Anh cảnh báo nhiệt độ trung bình trong 2010 có thể đạt tới mức chưa từng có trong lịch sử.Các nhà khoa học của Cơ quan Khí tượng Anh nói với BBC rằng nhiệt độ trung bình toàn cầu của năm 2010 sẽ là 14,58 độ C - cao hơn 0,58 độ C so với nhiệt độ trung bình trong nhiều thập kỷ qua. Theo giải thích của họ, sự kết hợp giữa biến đổi khí hậu và tình trạng nước trong Thái Bình Dương ấm lên khiến nhiệt độ tăng trong năm sau.
