heo các nhà khoa học thuộc Đại học Washington của Mỹ, họ đã tìm ra một "tân thế giới" của giới vi sinh vật biển và sẽ giúp họ tìm hiểu về các mốc phát triển quan trọng của môi trường trên Trái Đất.Trong khuôn khổ nghiên cứu Thống kê Toàn cầu về vi sinh vật biển (ICoMM) với sự tham gia của nhiều nhà khoa học trên thế giới, các nhà khoa học Mỹ đã phát hiện nhiều thực thể sống hiếm có, gồm các vi sinh vật, động vật phù du và ấu trùng trong đại dương.
