Giải mã gen tạo chất giảm đau trong thuốc phiện
ác nhà khoa học thuộc Đại học Calgary, Canada vừa công bố trên tạp chí Sinh hóa tự nhiên (Nature Chemical Biology) rằng họ đã giải mã được một trong những bí mật di truyền của cây thuốc phiện.Phát hiện này có thể mở ra triển vọng điều chế các loại thuốc giảm đau với chi phí rẻ hơn.Giáo sư sinh học Peter Facchini cho biết ông và đồng nghiệp Jillian Hagel đã phát hiện hai gen rất đặc biệt giúp cây thuốc phiện sản sinh ra hai chất làm giảm đau là codeine và morphine.
